Yelp Logo RebrandGiving Yelp a brand-spanking-new logo to give it some real deal real people feels.
In my circle, Yelp gets a real bad rap. Partially because of its current dated visuals (below).
But regardless of what the kids are saying, she’s one useful tool. So useful in fact that 84% of its users trust Yelp reviews as much as in person recommendations. I wanted to play up this connection between real people, turning the logo into what now looks like a symbol someone might give as a real life recommendation. Being a useful app already using a lovely bright color I wanted to continue using this and make it more playful and approachable.
